I have been exploring how watercolor behaves in much larger formats this past year. It has not rewarded me a careful and measured approach but has demanded a brashness that I have previously been too egotistical to attempt. Here is that first naive and therefor fearless step taken this past winter.

I often cannot pinpoint my emotions, however overpowering they may be. When overcome in this way, feelings tend to metabolize through my body rather than my mind. This leaves me reeling both physically and mentally, but with a background of faith in the process. This painting was both a manifestation and origination of this experience.
